WRITE ON: Convicted murderer Randy Kraft may be upset about the book written about him (E2), but one author doesn’t expect readers to snatch up the work. Best-selling novelist and true-crime writer Joseph Wambaugh, who chronicled county life in his novel, “The Big Orange,” was once asked if he had any interest in writing a book on the case. Said Wambaugh: “I don’t care if (Truman) Capote were alive, he could not write a book about Randy Kraft that would sell. . . .” Wambaugh said any Kraft book would be “gruesome.”
