Shining Examples: Jessica Tandy, Penny Marshall and Ruby Dee are the winners of Women in Film’s 1991 Crystal Awards, which honor those who have helped expand the role of women in the entertainment industry. The three women will receive their awards on Friday at the Century Plaza Hotel luncheon emceed by Glenn Close. Debbie Allen, Lili Fini Zanuck and Jodie Foster will be among the presenters. A special humanitarian award will be given to Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg and Robin Williams for their work with HBO’s Comic Relief.
