AIMS Media Purchases Pied Piper Video Firm

AIMS Media, a Chatsworth producer of educational films, said it has purchased Pied Piper Media, a Costa Mesa-based maker of video and filmstrip adaptations of children’s books.
AIMS said the purchase price was at least $600,000 but could increase to $700,000 depending on Pied Piper’s future performance. Pied Piper’s operations have been relocated to AIMS’ Chatsworth facility.
Pied Piper will be maintained as a separate label under AIMS’ direction.
