Hit the Paws Button: Tri-Star Pictures reports that its new film comedy “Bingo,” about a heroic dog, has been previewing across the country to howls of laughter--and lots of barking. As souvenirs, preview audiences have been given a button that plays the “Bingo” theme, accompanied by barking. But children especially haven’t been able to resist pushing the button during the movie, so at times hundreds of barking Bingos have almost drowned out the dialogue on screen. Apparently, the gizmo comes without a “paws” button. In any event, “Bingo,” with human stars such as Cindy Williams and David Rasche, opens Friday.
