NBC Names Curry ‘Sunrise’ Anchor

Ann Curry, a former KCBS Channel 2 reporter who has been an NBC News correspondent since June, 1990, was named Friday as the anchor of “NBC News at Sunrise.”
Curry succeeds Faith Daniels, who left “NBC News at Sunrise” in January to anchor NBC’s morning news magazine, “A Closer Look.” Curry, a two-time Emmy winner while with Channel 2, was among those who anchored “NBC News at Sunrise” since Daniels’ departure.
