Explosion Reported in Construction Site Fire

A Del Mar construction site caught fire Friday night after reports of an explosion, authorities said.
Officials received the calls of an explosion and fire at 2132 Jimmy Durante Blvd. at about 8:45 p.m. Computers may have been stored at the site, in a business district, a fire dispatcher said.
No injuries were reported and the fire was under control about 9:45 p.m., officials said. Arson investigators were called to the scene.
