SARASOTA, Fla. — A pretrial hearing for children’s TV star Pee-wee Herman, whose real name is Paul Reubens, has been scheduled for Sept. 3, court officials said Friday. At the hearing, Reubens will have an opportunity to strike a plea bargain instead of going to trial on charges that he exposed himself and masturbated in an adult movie theater. He has pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor exposure charge.
