Huntington Beach Wins in Softball

The Huntington Beach Outlaws won twice Friday and remained undefeated in the Amateur Softball Assn. 16-and-under national championship tournament in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Stefanie Noffsinger drove in Laura Minard with a sixth-inning single that gave the Outlaws a 2-1 victory over the Sacramento Breeze. The Outlaws, who also beat the Ohio Excel, 5-0, are among eight undefeated teams in the 62-team, double-elimination tournament.
The Outlaws play the California Thunder of Covina in their first game today.
