Start Dates: Carolco Pictures will start production Oct. 14 on a new movie about silent film star Charles Chaplin. “Charlie” will star Robert Downey Jr. and be directed by Sir Richard Attenborough. . . . Warner Bros. will start principal photography on the new “Batman” adventure on Sept. 3, starring Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito and Michele Pfeiffer.
