FILLMORE : Plumber Named to Planning Panel

The Fillmore City Council has appointed Randy Lemons to the Planning Commission to replace Eric Sakowicz, who moved out of Fillmore this year to be closer to his Thousand Oaks job.
Lemons, 36, was born in Fillmore and runs a plumbing business in the city. He was one of five applicants for the position.
Councilwoman Linda Brewster, who served on the selection committee, said it was a difficult choice. “Really, any one of them would have done a fine job,” Brewster said. “I was very impressed by all of them.”
