SEAL BEACH — A robber threatened to shoot a teller at Fidelity Federal Savings on Thursday when she didn’t immediately respond to his demand for cash, police said.
The robbery, at 13820 Seal Beach Blvd., was reported at 9:45 a.m. Police said the robber gave a teller a note demanding cash.
When the teller hesitated, the man threatened to shoot her, police dispatcher Bonnie Tyler said. No weapon was seen.
After he was given an undetermined amount of cash, the robber fled in a car driven by a woman, Tyler said.
The robber is described as white, in his 40s, 6 feet tall and balding with dark hair. Police described his car as older gray sedan, possibly a Ford Thunderbird.
