Leaving Games Early Seems to Be Birthright of Many Dodger Fans
- Share via
Next time you’re watching the umpteenth replay of Kirk Gibson’s game-winning home run in the 1988 World Series, note the very visible brake light that goes on in the Dodger Stadium parking lot as the ball falls into the right-field bleachers. I like to believe that in the car is some idiot who has walked out on the game early, is listening to it on the radio and is stamping his foot on the pedal in frustration as he realizes what he has just missed.
