Police Investigate Shooting of Girl

SANTA ANA — A young girl was shot in the back Monday night near Raitt and Willis streets, police said, but investigators had few details.
The girl, who was not identified, was shot at about 9 p.m. Police did not say if the shooting was a drive-by attack or if it was gang-related. No one was in custody for the shooting.
The girl was taken to Coastal Communities Hospital in Santa Ana.
