Slavery

When I read your account of slavery, particularly in the brothels in Southeast Asia, (World Report, Aug. 6), my first thought was: What does this say about men in this area? And their predilection for young girls? Girls as young as 11 who had five customers on a single night?

The brothels would not exist without the customers.
