Luigi Zampa, 86, an Italian film director, screenwriter and author whose career spanned four decades. Among his best-known films about slices of Italian life were “To Live in Peace” in 1946, and a trilogy involving “Difficult Years” in 1948, “Easy Years” in 1953 and “The Art of Getting By” in 1954.
