CLASS DISMISSED: Wanting to help parents with children anxious about starting school, Irvine city officials offered a class to help them identify their children’s fears and deal with them. Alas, class had to be dismissed: Nobody enrolled. . . . “It’s really a shame,” said Dr. Dolly Kaplan, a school psychologist who was to teach it. “I guess there were just too many vacations this week.”
