Delta to Expand Service: Delta Air Lines Chairman Ronald Allen said the carrier plans to begin service Nov. 1 to 23 cities in Europe, India and the Middle East on routes acquired from Pan Am Corp. He said the deal would more than double Delta’s transatlantic service to 195 round-trip flights weekly from 92 now. Delta’s takeover of the Pan Am routes is contingent on approval by federal regulators, which Allen said he expects in October.
