Police-Community Tension: The bulk of KTTV’s (Channel 11) 10 p.m. newscast Thursday will be devoted to an examination of the growing tension between Los Angeles law enforcement agencies and residents of the community. The special report, titled “The Battered Badge,” will look at recent police brutality controversies as well as the history of police and community mistrust.
