Bruins in Trouble After Beating BYU
As a faithful follower of UCLA football, it is apparent that the Bruin coaching staff has reverted to its exploits of 1990--trying ever so hard to lose games in the second half after taking the lead into the locker room at halftime.
Perhaps a higher power (like in the press box) can explain the Bruins’ failure to amass little more than 110 yards on the ground and in the air in the second 30 minutes while the Bruin defense looked like a group of hapless little sandlot players incapable of tackling or containing an offense of one: Ty Detmer. This could be another long season.
