TUSTIN : School Board OKs $45.6-Million Budget
- Share via
The Tustin Unified School District Board of Education has approved a $45.6-million budget for the 1991-92 school year.
District officials said the budget is tight but balanced. Expenditures in the plan exceed revenue by almost $2 million but the shortfall was offset by a $4.3-million closing balance in the previous year’s budget. Officials project a balance much smaller by the close of the current school year.
Officials said they will monitor the financial situation throughout the year and might have to make cuts or institute a hiring freeze later on.
