If One London Isn’t Right, Try Other

Jeremy London will probably think twice before asking his twin brother, Jason, to accompany him to an acting audition again. The last time he did, he ended up losing a plum movie role in “The Man in the Moon” to--you guessed it--his sibling. Even so, there’s no rivalry between these two and Jeremy says he’s glad the part of Court Foster stayed in the family.

“If I’m going to lose a role, there’s only one person I would want to get it and that’s my brother,” states the 18-year-old London. “Besides, I knew sooner or later something would happen for me.”

It turned out to be sooner. And this time, Jason got to return the favor and pay his brother back: After being cast as Nathan in the NBC family drama “I’ll Fly Away,” Jason discovered that, due to prior commitments, he wasn’t available. Naturally, he suggested Jeremy, who ended up with the role.

Raised in Wanette, Okla., the London brothers moved with their family to DeSoto, Tex., five years ago.

After signing with a Dallas talent agency, Jason and Jeremy got their first professional roles in an industrial film and it wasn’t long before they were both auditioning for “The Man in the Moon.” Though Jason ended up with the role, Jeremy is working as his brother’s stand-in and part-time stunt double. “We had a great time playing jokes on people,” says Jeremy, “because nobody could tell us apart.”
