Long Beach : Trial Date Set for 2 Charged in Murder of Girl, 12

A trial date of Dec. 3 was set this week for two reputed gang members charged in the murder of 12-year-old Anita Rochell Briones.
Ruben Guerrero, 19, and Guillermo Zolozabel, 17, were arraigned Tuesday in Long Beach Superior Court. They are being held without bail.
Briones was gunned down in the early morning hours of Aug. 4 in the 300 block of West 15th Street after reportedly pleading for her life. The girl was affiliated with a rival gang, according to police.
