Alpharel to Supply Firm’s Imaging System

Alpharel Inc., a Camarillo supplier of computer imaging systems, said it has been selected by Wisconsin Electric Power Co. to supply an imaging system linking the power company’s Milwaukee headquarters to the Point Beach Nuclear Plant.
The contract’s value is expected to be about $1.5 million, Alpharel said. The company said it expects to install the so-called Nuclear Information Management System in the first half of 1992.
Southern Electric International, a subsidiary of the Southern Co., will act as a database subcontractor to Alpharel on the project.
