Golden Mike Finalists: The Radio and Television News Assn. of Southern California has picked finalists in the best newscast categories for the 42nd annual Golden Mike Awards. KCBS, KNBC and KCAL are finalists for the best 60-minute newscast at a large station, with KGTV (San Diego), KCOP and KTLA selected in the smaller station division. Named in the 30-minute or less category are KCBS, KABC and KNBC (large division); and KNSD (San Diego), KMEX and KGTV (smaller station). Winners will be disclosed Jan. 18.
