DREAM NUMBERS: Free agent Danny Tartabull of the Royals may or may not sign with the Angels, but his stats sure would help. . . . His 1991 average of .316 was 20 points higher than any returning Angel outfielder and his 100 RBIs were 50 higher. Last season all five Angel outfielders combined hit 36 home runs; Tartabull had 31. Tartabull reportedly has narrowed his choices to the Angels and two other teams.
