VENTURA : Man, 30, Stabbed, in Serious Condition

A 30-year-old Ventura man was in serious condition Saturday night after being stabbed in the face, chest and arms early Saturday morning, police said.
Jose Olivera was taken to Ventura County Medical Center after Ventura Police answered a call at 2:15 a.m. in the 100 block of W. Harrison Avenue, according to a statement by Sgt. Larry White. Olivera underwent surgery early Saturday, Nursing Supervisor Pat Gates said.
Police said Saturday that they had no witnesses or suspects in the stabbing.
