Dominguez Hills Defeats Chapman

Reserve Michael Moore scored 13 points and had a game-high six rebounds as Cal State Dominguez Hills defeated Chapman, 66-50, in the third-place game of the Grand Canyon tournament Saturday in Phoenix.
Dominguez Hills had a 33-19 halftime lead as Chapman made only seven of 18 first-half shots.
Forward Segaro Bozart had 11 points for Dominguez Hills (8-4), including a game-high three three-point baskets. Chapman’s Mike Vaughn led all scorers with 14 points. The Panthers are 5-6.
Moore was the only Toro to be named to the all-tournament team.
Dominguez Hills lost to Grand Canyon, 75-73, in a first-round game Friday.
