Hatfield Leaves Hospital After Blood Clot Treatment
- Share via
Bobby Hatfield of the Righteous Brothers was released from St. Mary’s Hospital in Reno on Friday after a nearly two-week stay due to blood clotting in his left leg, a hospital spokeswoman said.
“It swelled up like a sumo (wrestler’s) leg, like it didn’t even belong to my body,” Hatfield said in a phone interview from the hospital on Wednesday. “But my leg’s back to normal, and I feel good.”
Hatfield was hospitalized for treatment and testing after suffering pain and swelling on Dec. 28 during a four-day singing engagement at Bally’s casino.
