Ynez Elementary Boy Wins Card Competition

Eric Gunawan has won $250 for his school, Ynez Elementary School in Monterey Park, by capturing first prize in the PDQ Personnel Services’ holiday greeting card competition.
Eric, 8, created a design that focused on children of various nationalities encircling the globe to illustrate his theme, “Peace on Earth.”
The contest was sponsored by the Los Angeles-based firm for children of its employees.
