Creative Computer Applications, a Calabasas provider of computer systems for medical testing laboratories, said its profit for the first fiscal quarter that ended Nov. 30 rose 13% on nearly flat revenues.
Net income for the quarter was $101,032 compared to a year-earlier profit of $89,671, the company said. Revenues were $1.2 million.
President Stephen M. Besbeck said revenues were flat because of fewer shipments of its data-acquisition products. Profits grew as a result of higher margins and lower overhead, he said.
