Leaders of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania say they hope to learn more about political reform, free enterprise, and relations with Moscow during a two-day conference in the British capital beginning Thursday.
The Baltic leaders proposed meeting with Western business executives, bankers, government officials and other experts on the problems of reintegrating their newly independent countries into the world community.
London’s Royal Institute of International Affairs and the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry are co-sponsoring the conference.
