Club Membership for Veterans’ Children

The Boys Club of San Pedro is offering free membership to the children of local National Guard and reserve soldiers deployed during the Persian Gulf War.
Programs offered daily at the club include computer education, tutoring, photography and sports. The club, at 1200 S. Cabrillo Ave., is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
The program is part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Desert Storm Outreach Program, a $3-million effort funded by the U.S. Department of Defense. For more information, call (310) 833-1322.
