Severo Zepeda-Valles, 42, was charged with one count of possessing, with intent to distribute, 60 ounces of heroin. He was arrested Jan. 10, after allegedly soliciting Drug Enforcement Administration agents in a shopping center parking lot in El Centro, Assistant U.S. Atty. George C. Aguilar said.
Zepeda-Valles is being held without bail, pending a formal bond application to be heard Jan. 24, Aguilar said.
