The Orange County Performing Arts Center raised a record $5.17 million in 1991 to end the year in the black, center officials confirmed Thursday. Expenditures for the year were $19.7 million; ticket sale revenues of $15.6 million combined with the funds raised to leave the Center with a surplus of just over $1 million. Attendance for events presented by the center averaged 84.4%, up from 77% in 1990.
