Richard Kinzer of Lafayette, Ind., was arrested in connection with the death of Purdue tight end Jason Crawford, police said Saturday.
Officers found Crawford, 21, injured around 2:30 a.m. Saturday after a fight outside a tavern near the Purdue campus. Crawford died about 30 minutes later in St. Elizabeth Hospital.
