Poet and author Essex Hemphill will read from “Brother to Brother: New Writings by Black Gay Men” tonight at 8 at the LACE Bookstore, 1804 Industrial St.
Most recently, Hemphill’s work has been featured into ground-breaking, critically-acclaimed films, “Looking for Langston” and “Tongues Untied.”
