Equine Center Will Be Expanded, Remodeled

Cal Poly Pomona will expand and remodel its Equine Research Center with $340,000 in private contributions, including a $260,000 donation from the Oak Tree Racing Assn.

The center, founded in 1980, studies horse nutrition, physiology and management, especially of racing breeds.
