In another Division I-A game:
Mater Dei 86, Riverside Arlington 39--Reggie Geary scored 17 points and had six rebounds and seven assists for the top-seeded Monarchs (28-1), who will play Compton Dominguez in the quarterfinals Friday.
Ray Jackson added 13 points for Mater Dei, which led, 43-21, at the half.
Mater Dei had only four turnovers in the game and forced Arlington into 22 turnovers. Jeff Meeks scored 11 points for Arlington.
