In the Division V final last month in Sacramento, Faith Baptist lost to the state’s top-ranked team, Ripon Christian, 80-70. The Contenders, nonetheless, emerged as kings of Southland small schools for 1991-92. Faith Baptist (27-7) also shared the Delphic League championship with Crossroads.
