SURF TO COURT: The Trestles, on the south end of the San Onofre State Beach, doesn’t get big crowds because you have to walk half a mile from your car. But surfers love it, so environmentalists today and tomorrow will host an amateur surf contest there. It’s to raise money for the court fight against the proposed Foothill toll road. . . . “We’re trying to save what little bit of wilderness we have left,” says organizer Andy Horn. More than 100 surfers have already signed up for the all-day events, which start at 7 a.m.
