Los Angeles may or may not have the most rollerblades per capita in the world, but here are some local records verified by Guinness:
* In 1985, William Fugua sat completely still on a motorcycle for 24 hours in Glendale, the longest time anyone has continuously remained motionless.
* Huntington Beach instructor Scott Michael danced for 126 hours, with 27 women working in shifts as his partner, in 1986 at the Dance Masters Ballroom Studio in Stanton.
* The fastest upright skateboarder is John Hutson, who, in 1978, went 53.45 m.p.h. at Signal Hill.
* In 1972, the Los Angeles Lakers had the greatest winning margin in NBA history--63 points against the Golden State Warriors.
