I’ve been reading a lot about Ross Perot and who he’s going to create the most trouble for--President Bush or Gov. Bill Clinton.
If history is any indication, it’s President Bush that’s going to have to watch out.
There have been 12 third-party candidates in 10 different presidential elections who have managed to reach 4% or better of the popular vote. In seven of those 10 elections, the incumbent party lost control of the White House.
