San Diego police were investigating an early morning attack Wednesday at a residence in the 1900 block of Market Street that left one man dead and another wounded. Police spokesman Dave Cohen said investigators believe the attack was drug-related.
An unidentified man died from a stab wound to the chest, authorities said, and the other suffered a gunshot wound in the leg and was treated at UC San Diego Medical Center.
Witnesses reported seeing three men run from the scene and drive off in a car, Cohen said.
