Riley Wins, Advances at U.S. Publinx

Chris Riley of San Diego beat his two match-play opponents during Wednesday’s first and second rounds of the 1992 U.S. Amateur Public Links championship in Brooklyn Park, Minn.
Riley defeated Hans Kersting of Albuquerque, N.M., 5 and 4. Later he got by Jim Lockwood of Sparks, Nev., 2 and 1.
