Agencies Excel at Placing Disabled: Seven employment agencies in the United States were ranked best at finding jobs for people with mental and physical disabilities in a just-released study. “We’re trying to get people who have not had opportunities into the mainstream of society,” said Kay Holjes, executive director of one of the seven agencies, Employment Opportunities Inc. of Raleigh, N.C. Among the other agencies cited in the study were City Education & Employment Services of La Canada Flintridge and Systematic Training for Employment Program of Los Angeles. The study was conducted by the Developmental Disabilities Training Institute at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
