Sandra Cecchini of Italy defeated Emanuela Zardo of Switzerland, 6-2, 6-1, in the final of the $150,000 Paris Women’s tennis tournament. Cecchini, seeded sixth, duplicated her victory here in 1989 and continued a career trend that has seen her also win in the French cities Nice and Strasbourg.
