Mike Ivey, a defensive back for Catholic University, died after an asthma attack, the university’s athletic department announced. Ivey, 20, suffered the attack at about 8:15 p.m. Friday and died later that night at Providence Hospital, the school said.
Ivey had 16 tackles in two games for Catholic this season. He started every game in his freshman year and ranked fifth in tackles with 66.
