FRIDAY FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Ali, Carrion Connect as Dorsey Beats Fairfax

Senior quarterback Sultan Ali threw touchdown passes of 39 and 28 yards, both to wide receiver Antonio Carrion, to lead Dorsey to a 21-0 victory over Fairfax in a nonleague game at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
Ali completed seven of 12 passes for 106 yards, 96 of which were to Carrion, who had five receptions. The Dons’ defense held Fairfax to only 145 total yards and limited Lion quarterback Hasan Muhammad to seven completions in 22 attempts for 56 yards.
Dorsey scored its first touchdown on the 39-yard pass to Carrion with seven seconds left in the first quarter. The Dons went up 14-0 in the third quarter on Dante Spotville’s 14-yard touchdown run.Ali hit Carrion for 28 yards and the final score.
