Vans Names Executive VP: A top financial executive with a high-techology company was appointed Monday to the post of executive vice president and financial officer of Vans Inc., the Orange-based sneaker maker.
Winston E. Hickman joins Vans after 20 years as a corporate finance executive. Most recently, he was vice president for finance for Allied-Signal Corp, based in Morristown, N.J. He also previously worked at Rockwell International, based in Seal Beach.
“Vans is a great company with a terrific reputation,” Hickman said in a statement. “I believe the company is rapidly evolving from a highly respected regional player to a recognized national and international company.”
Hickman is a graduate of Cal State Long Beach and received his MBA from the University of Southern California. Vans President Richard Leeuwenburg praised Hickman for his “stature and experience.”
