Television Actor Jameson Parker, co-star of “Simon and Simon,” was shot Thursday night near his condominium in Studio City, after a dispute with a neighbor over dog waste, authorities said.
Parker, 44, who played A.J. Simon in the CBS series, was listed in good condition at the Medical Center of North Hollywood, a nursing supervisor said.
The shooting appeared to be the result of a dispute between neighbors, said Los Angeles Police Officer Douglas Hamilton.
The shooting was reported at 7:49 p.m. at a four-unit condo in the 12000 block of Moorpark Street, he said. A man whose identity was not immediately available was arrested in connection with the shooting.
The actor was taken to the Medical Center of North Hollywood, where nursing supervisor Elsa Mariano identified him as Parker.
